A simple tulle veil is timeless and works with almost any wedding dress. It’s also a beautiful option if you want your gown to do most of the talking or simply prefer a clean, minimal bridal look.
For a minimal wedding dress, your veil could instead become more of a feature. Pearls, lace, floral appliqué or another statement detail can completely transform a simple bridal look.
You don’t necessarily need to match every detail. Think about creating balance between the dress and veil rather than making them identical.

It’s worth thinking about your wedding hairstyle when choosing your veil, particularly where you would like the veil to sit.
Veils can be worn with both hair up and hair down. The important thing is making sure the comb can be secured comfortably and sits at the right height for the look you want.
If you’re unsure, take your veil to your hair trial so your stylist can experiment with the placement.
Tip: If you’re wearing your hair down, your veil will usually sit a little higher on your head, so factor this in when choosing your veil length. With your hair up, the veil may be positioned lower.
If you can, try your veil with your actual wedding dress.
