All of our gowns and are designed and developed in our Mount Maunganui studio. Most of our pieces made here in our studio including all of our silk wedding dresses and separates. This means we are able to customise designs and ensure the perfect fit! From minor alterations to a completely bespoke design, we can help you create the perfect dress for your special day.
We’ve made it easier to get a perfect fit by offering a made to measure option for our designs. Made-to-measure wedding dresses are custom made to fit your unique body shape. Many of our bespoke gowns are made to measure inclusive, due to their complex designs.
With our made to measure option, we can also make small customisations, such as, raising/lowering a neckline, swapping or adding buttons, and shortening/lengthening the train.
If you’re in between sizes, petite, plus size or planning on changing sizes before your wedding then this is an especially great option for you. We take measurements a minimum of 3-4 months prior to your wedding and have fittings along the way.
We offer services for both our collection gowns and wedding dresses purchased elsewhere. Our team of experienced bridal seamstresses will ensure a perfect fit for your special day. Whether it’s taking up a hem or completely remodeling an heirloom vintage dress we are here for you.
Our timeline can range from 2 weeks, to 4-6 weeks for more extensive alterations.
Alterations are usually a three step process:
Your first appointment/fitting where we will determine what alterations are required and provide a quote
At your second fitting we will double check any adjustments before finalising the alterations
Third fitting/collection: A final check and then its time to take your beautiful gown home, now with the perfect fit!
